Hello! I am Joseph Dante Maurice, a senior at Rice University. I am pursuing a double major in Sport Analytics and Statistics and a minor in Data Science. Driven by determination to work in sports, I transferred to Rice after two years at the University of Wisconsin–Madison to focus on sports analytics opportunities that align with my career goals.
I currently serve as the Student Assistant Director of Analytics for Rice Baseball. In this role, I capture and analyze data to support player development initiatives, conduct advanced research, and produce detailed scouting reports. My goal is to bring value to a professional sports organization by providing actionable insight through research and analytics.
